Description

Cast and painted by hand in a family workshop in India, where recycled brass is given new life as cheerful decorative details. The flower shape has soft curves and a pink surface with slight variations from the handcrafting process, meaning no two knobs are exactly alike. A simple way to give old dressers, IKEA cabinets or kitchen drawers personality without replacing the whole piece of furniture.

Care & FAQShow less

Care and maintenance

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasives and harsh cleaning products, as these can damage the painted brass surface.

Frequently asked questions

How do you fit a Doing Goods knob?

The knob has a threaded bolt on the back that is pushed through a drilled hole in the drawer front or cabinet door and secured with a nut on the inside. Most existing handles can be swapped without any tools other than a screwdriver.

What is the difference between brass and recycled brass?

Recycled brass has the same appearance and durability as new brass, but is made from re-smelted scrap. This reduces the need for new copper and zinc extraction, and often creates small surface variations that make each piece unique.

Can I mix the pink flower knob with other Doing Goods knobs?

Yes, Doing Goods knobs are designed to be mixed and matched. A dresser with alternating shapes and colours — flowers, fruits, animals — works beautifully in a kids' room or as a pop of colour in the hallway.

How do you clean painted brass?

Use a soft, damp cloth and if needed a drop of mild washing-up liquid. Avoid scouring pads, vinegar and acidic cleaners, as these can scratch or discolour the pink surface.

Does a pink flower knob fit IKEA furniture?

Yes, the threaded bolt fits the standard drill holes of most IKEA drawers and doors such as Malm, Hemnes and Pax. Check the depth of your existing screw before purchasing so the nut can be tightened properly.

Handmade & unique product

Most of my products are handmade or hand-painted. This means that there may be variations in color, finish, and minor imperfections. These variations are a natural part of the handmade look and make each product unique. Minor differences are therefore not considered defects.
