Description
Made in Italy by a family-run ceramic workshop, where each moon is modelled and hand-painted in blue glaze. The sleeping facial features — closed eyes, nose and mouth — are shaped in the ceramic before glazing, so each piece has small variations in colour tone and expression. A piece of folkloric Italian ceramic with roots in the Mediterranean tradition of ceramic wall decorations.

What is the difference between the three sizes of moon wall hanging?
Small measures 16 cm and works as an accent in a grouping or on small wall areas. Medium at 27 cm stands well on its own above a dresser or bed. Large at 36 cm becomes a striking anchor point on the wall.
How do you clean hand-painted Italian ceramic?
Wipe with a slightly damp cloth without soap or harsh agents. The hand-painted glaze can lose colour intensity on contact with cleaning agents containing acid or bleach.
Can a ceramic wall hanging hang in the bathroom?
Yes, glazed ceramic handles moisture far better than paper posters or prints. The glaze seals the surface, so steam from the shower does not damage either colour or material.
