Description
Doing Goods designs in Amsterdam and has the hook hand-cast in recycled brass. The flower-shaped front, just 5 cm across, carries natural variations from the casting process, and the brass develops a soft patina over time. A neat little detail piece on the wall — functional as a hanger for tea towels or necklaces, but also a small eye-catcher in colorful and feminine interiors.

Care and maintenance
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Natural patina over time is normal for brass and can be polished away with brass cleaner.

What is the difference between recycled brass and new brass?
Recycled brass is melted down and recast from existing brass objects, significantly reducing mining and energy consumption. Aesthetically and functionally there is no difference — the quality and durability are identical to new brass.
How much weight can a small brass hook hold?
Mini Maisie is designed for lighter items such as tea towels, guest towels, jewelry, keyrings and small bags. It is not intended for bathrobes, winter jackets or heavy bags — choose a larger hook for that purpose.
How do you maintain brass hooks?
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh cleaning agents. If you want to preserve the shiny finish, the brass can be polished with brass cleaner a few times a year.
Is Mini Maisie a good hostess gift?
Yes — the hook is a neat little hostess or housewarming gift at an affordable price. The flower-shaped front makes it a thoughtful detail rather than a standard hook, and the brass patina develops beautifully over the years.
Are screws included for mounting?
