Quail Ceramics has specialised in hand-painted animal figures in stoneware since the 1990s, with each figure decorated individually. The puffins' black-and-white plumage and characteristic orange beak are rendered with fine brushstrokes, and small colour variations between sets are part of the craft. A bird motif with character that brings the coastal bird to the dinner table.

Each figure from Quail is painted individually by hand, so there will always be small variations in colour and brushstroke from set to set. It is precisely this handcrafted detail that makes each set unique.
