Description
Designed by the Dutch brand &Klevering and hand-painted on dolomite, so each platter gets small variations in colouring and expression. The elongated shape, with the fish's tail and fins as the eye-catcher, makes the motif part of the presentation — scales, eyes and dorsal fin drawn in bold blue, green and orange tones. A colourful nod to the Dutch still-life tradition, translated into modern table culture.

What is the difference between dolomite and stoneware?
Dolomite is fired at a lower temperature than stoneware and is therefore more porous and lighter. This also means that dolomite does not tolerate dishwashers or ovens as well as stoneware — hand washing is recommended to preserve the glaze and motif.
Is the perch platter dishwasher safe?
No, &Klevering recommends hand washing. The hand-painted motif and the dolomite material can be damaged by the high temperatures and chemicals in the dishwasher. Rinse in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
What can you serve on an elongated fish platter?
The elongated format is naturally suited to whole fish, smoked salmon, sashimi and mackerel fillets. It also works well for tapas, antipasti, cheese boards, grissini or a wide range of starters — anywhere the shape enhances the presentation.
