Description
Designed by Dutch brand &Klevering and hand-painted on dolomite, so no two plates are alike. The motifs draw inspiration from life beneath the sea surface — crabs, fish, and shells in various shades, painted with visible brushstrokes that give each plate its own character. A colorful nod to classic maritime table culture, translated into a contemporary tableware language.

Care and maintenance
Hand washing is recommended to preserve the hand-painted decoration. Avoid the microwave, as heat can affect the paint.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can &Klevering Plate de la mer plates go in the dishwasher?
Hand washing is recommended to protect the hand-painted decoration. Dishwashing over time can wear down the colors and motifs, causing them to lose their sharpness.
What is the difference between dolomite and stoneware?
Dolomite is a ceramic material fired at lower temperatures than stoneware. This makes it well suited to decorative tableware with detailed hand-painted motifs, but it is more sensitive to intense heat and should be hand washed.
How big are the plates, and what can they be used for?
The plates have a diameter of 16 cm, making them ideal for starters, desserts, tapas, or small seafood dishes. They also work well as a saucer for a cup and cake.
Are Plate de la mer plates a good hostess gift?
Yes — the set of 4 hand-painted plates is a natural hostess gift or housewarming gift for someone who loves colorful table settings or has a summer home by the coast.
Is every plate in the set different?
Yes, the set consists of 4 plates with different sea motifs, and because they are hand-painted, no two plates are entirely alike — even within the same motif.

Super fine tallerkner :) Og de kom med en lille håndskrevet hilsen, hvilket jeg syntes, var super sødt!
