Since 1991, Quail Ceramics has crafted hand-painted stoneware ceramic figures from their workshop in England. The pug vase is shaped as a sitting pug with detailed face, wrinkles, and the characteristic curled tail. The stoneware is fired at high temperature, making the surface durable. Because each vase is hand-painted, the shades in the fur and facial expression vary slightly from piece to piece.
