Since 1991, Quail Ceramics has specialized in handmade ceramic figures with animal motifs. This salt & pepper set features two French Bulldogs in stoneware — one for salt, one for pepper. Each figure stands 8.5 cm tall and is sculpted with the breed’s typical facial features: broad jaws, upright ears, and large, round eyes. The stoneware is fired at high temperatures, making the set both food-safe and durable for everyday use.
The holes on top are sized for fine salt and freshly ground pepper. The base has a rubber stopper for easy refilling. Quail’s products are hand-painted, so slight variations in color and detail between individual sets are part of the artisanal charm.
Care and maintenance
Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid dishwasher and soaking in water — the rubber stopper at the base is not resistant to prolonged moisture. Only fill with dry spices.
