Description
Quail Ceramics has since the 1980s specialised in hand-painted animal figures from their workshop in England. The curly coat is rendered with dense brushstrokes in warm earth tones, and each vase gains its own character through individual painting. A figure vase in the British ceramic tradition, where the animal portrait meets functional stoneware.

FAQ
Is the Quail Cockapoo vase a good gift for dog owners?
Yes, the figure vase is particularly popular as a gift for owners of Cockapoos, Cocker Spaniels or Poodle mixes. It works both as a personal greeting and as a functional vase for small bouquets.
What is the difference between a Quail figure vase and a regular vase?
A Quail figure vase is shaped as a recognisable animal and individually hand-painted in stoneware, while a regular vase is typically plain-coloured and machine-made. Quail vases serve both as sculpture and functional object.
Which flowers suit a small figure vase of 15 cm?
Smaller flowers such as ranunculus, anemones, violets, daisies or single roses work well. Wildflowers and dried grasses also look lovely at this low height.
How do you maintain a hand-painted stoneware vase?
Rinse with lukewarm water after use and wipe with a soft cloth. The vase is dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the hand-painted decoration.
Where are Quail Ceramics figures made?
Quail Ceramics was founded in the 1980s in England and still produces their hand-painted animal figures in stoneware with a focus on British fauna and popular dog breeds such as the Cockapoo.

Handmade & unique product
Most of my products are handmade or hand-painted. This means that there may be variations in color, finish, and minor imperfections. These variations are a natural part of the handmade look and make each product unique. Minor differences are therefore not considered defects.
